We’re here to celebrate ten years of Troutbitten.
December 8th was the tenth anniversary of the first article ever published on Troutbitten. All those years ago, I never expected this Troutbitten business — this media company — to become what it is. Honestly, I had no intentions other than to write and publish stories about fishing, simply because I love the process of writing and I enjoyed fishing. I like being creative.
In this episode, we talk about history and upcoming plans. Where has Troutbitten been, and where are we going? We’ reflect on the past, take a look at where we are in the present and talk about some ideas and plans on the horizon.
This whole project has defined my life and career for the last decade, and I know that each of the guys here has their own connection in their own way.
The Troutbitten guys join me, along with the Troutbitten OG, Sloop John B.

Congratulations and many thanks to you and the Crew! What a difference you all have made in my fly fishing journey.
Great job and congratulations! Enjoy your podcasts. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
Tight lines.
Thanks to each of you for making our flyfishing lives so much richer.
Tight lines and best wishes, now and in the future.
Congrats on a significant milestone! Over these years your writings have made me laugh, made me cry, and made me a better angler.
Laugh, cry, and fish. That’s a rich life, isn’t it?
I was wondering when you will have Camo & Gold & Grey hats back in stock. Shopping site said back in stock December 6th. Would like to buy both hats.
Right on. They sold out very quickly. We have a couple dozen of each. Should have another batch just after Christmas.
Love it. Thanks, Burt.
Hey Dom and Crew,
I was listening to the podcast and the portion about the book and e-book stuck out to me. You mentioned you wouldn’t be able to link to videos / podcasts / articles in the book like you would with the e-book. However, I had the idea that you could create QR codes that link to the relevant material and have those placed on any given page in the physical copy of the book where you are discussing that topic . There are plenty of services online that offer the ability to create these QR codes and in some you can even add your own logo (cool Troutbitten specific QR codes). Food for thought.
Thanks for all the material you have posted on all the various platforms over the years. Looking forward to the next evolution of the content
Damn. That’s pretty smart. THANKS for the idea, Michael.
Dom and Crew. I’m a little late, but I wanted to congratulate you on all you’ve accomplished in 10 years. Dom, fishing with you the last three years and consuming all the knowledge across your platforms has made me a much more competent angler than I would have been otherwise. I hope I’m still fishing and listening when your 20th anniversary rolls around.
