Damn I love the rain!  The colder and nastier the weather, the happier I become.  Don’t get me wrong, I do like being comfortable when I fish.  However, there is just something about those rotten, bad weather days that turn big fish on and make them lose some of their cautiousness.

It had been a long time since we got any significant rain.  This was a good full day soaker that started Friday evening and carried over most of the day Saturday.    The fish really took notice and I picked up some quality fish on streamers and eggs.
