For me, Troutbitten podcasts have been a back burner project for a few years now. But no longer. After months of work, the Troutbitten Podcast is available everywhere that you find and listen to your podcasts.
This first season will feature topics like, How to Handle a Trout, Stocked vs Wild Trout, Stream Etiquette and more. We’ll also dig deep into the tactics side and talk about Night Fishing for Trout, The Mono Rig, Tight Line and Euro Nymphing, Streamers, Dry Flies and a lot of the other stuff that I write about on the website.

This Is Troutbitten
In this inaugural Troutbitten podcast, my friends Bill, Austin, Trevor and Josh join me to discuss how fly fishing for wild trout creates a life on the water.
We consider what it means to fish hard, how hope is the strongest trait of a successful angler, why everything works sometimes, and how fly fishers, all too often, are a little much.
We also talk about the tenets of Troutbitten, or the shared interests and characteristics about fly fishing that bring us together and keep us excited about trout fishing for a lifetime.
In 2014, Troutbitten.com started with fishing stories and tips. And from the beginning, the tactics articles have leaned toward the advanced angler without neglecting the beginner. Now over 700 articles deep, this Troutbitten website has become a huge resource for trout anglers on a fly rod — and always with the goal to educate and entertain.
The addition of the podcast platform offers a novel way to reach anglers where they are — in the car, at the tying desk, at the gym or cooking dinner. And I’m excited about the possibilities for this new format.
Big thanks and credit goes to Josh Darling of Wilds Media for the sound engineering on these episodes.

Then, Now, Later
Like the launch of the guide service, the Troutbitten Shop, the YouTube channel and the books to come, this podcast series is a milestone moment for the Troutbitten business. It’s also another chance to be creative and a new opportunity to work with and learn from other like minded anglers. This is a good life.
Fish hard, friends.
